Ronda

Winding roads and a city atop the El Tajo gorge

It was time to hit the gym. It's been a bit on and off during our trip (mostly off) so we checked out the gym before our breakfast in the sunrise.

After breakfast we headed out for today's journey, Ronda, a city top the El Tarjo gorge, connected by three bridges. The most famous of the three bridges is the newest, Puerto Nuevo completed in 1793!
We found a great restaurant with a terrace overloking Puerto Nuevo and enjoyed a fabulous lunch!

The famous Mala & Bridge

With our bellies full we went on a stroll through Ronda, where we came upon the Ronda Carhedral, Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor. The architecture was kind of cool with one half being from the gothic period and the other from the renaissance.
There was also access to a roof deck with absolutely awesome views of the city!

Look in the mirror!

When we were done in the city, we drove down to a view point below the cliffs via a narrow winding one lane dirt road. Magnus got to try our his drone for a bit again so now we have some great pictures for our memory wall.

Back at the hotel we decided to simply stay put and settled down the main patio to enjoy the sunset and some food!

Cheers, old chap!
